We consider the community to be for everyone because of our focus on safety and ethical use. This is a topic of great importance and it's an ongoing discussion we want everyone involved in.

In terms of experience level with AI and technology, we approach our resources from a novice to intermediate perspective.

Creation of the AI Community Hub is not a wholesale embrace and endorsement of AI as a technology, but a recognition of how it is changing so much of our world; with the goals of responsibly putting it to use for good and having awareness of what our concerns should be when using it. We strongly believe that education, resources and a community that shares similar interests and concerns about the development and use of AI is profoundly important.

We don't exactly fall into either the AI Optimist or AI Pessimist camps. We have some optimistism in areas, and some serious concerns at the same time. We do our best to balance both perspectives with the resources we provide.

Some of the imagery we use for visual purposes is AI generated. Otherwise, 100% of the content is produced by humans. All of the written guides, video tutorials and discussion topics are created by us.

We actually enjoy writing, and will take this opportunity to express some disdain for AI's regular use of the em dash — a fixture of our writing style for many years. It is a constant battle to use it more sparingly now that it stands out to so many as a symbol of AI generated content!
